With a picnic and hammock area by the creek, outdoor pavilion with a large fireplace, and no TV, you are finally able to spend some quality outdoor time with your family!

Misty Waters Getaway..located in the beautiful mountains of East Tenn. on the pristine Watauga River, known for its trout fishing .The house is 140 yrs old and completely remodeled. Clean and comfortable .5 min from the lake. Close to Tri Cities Airport, 1 hr. to Asheville, NC, 20 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway, and 30 mins to Roan Mountain. Appalachian trail is minutes up the road..East Tenn. State University and Milligan college are within a short driving distance..LOCATION!

Cozy, Updated 40s Cabin, Bold Creek, Spacious Deck

We named our space "The Creek House" because of the bold creek that flows down the hill from the cabin. The home is located in a holler with views of the mountains in the distance. It is peaceful with sounds of water cascading over the boulders. You might also hear the occasional neighing & mooing of our neighbors on the farm next door! The area offers hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, gem mining, Zip lining, UTVing, dining, antique shopping, wine tastings at local vineyards, etc.

Watauga River Cottage in Johnson City, TN

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly water front river cottage (Approximately 1,700sf)! Bring your fishing pole and relax! We have Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required!). Enjoy some time on the hammocks by the river or step into the hot tub on the deck over looking the river. Please note we do have a video camera overlooking the driveway as well as overlooking the stairway and river bank below the river cottage.

Over 700 feet of river frontage with excellent fishing. Near South Holston Lake. Enjoy the Birthplace of Country music, NASCAR, and Rhythm and Roots Reunion. Short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Asheville. The chalet is a nature lover’s paradise !!!
