Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Shady Rest “on blue pond” with hot tub

The tranquil sound of the water fountain sets the mood for Shady Rest. (removed during winter) Unwind in the therapeutic hot tub. (open all year long) Watch the 12 ft. windmill twirl as it catches the wind. Resident ducks will provide fun entertainment. End the day with a night fire around the fire pit. No matter what the season, Shady Rest “on blue pond” is sure to create an unforgettable experience. Property not suited for small children due to deep pond next to the Airbnb. No pets allowed

Our sweet Farmhouse Cottage is located in the heart of downtown area, where the Civic Center, local restaurants and coffee shops, unique boutiques, all within walking distance. There are plenty of things to do and many other attractions to enjoy. The space offers 2 bedroom (one king, one double bed), 1 bath is comfortable for 1-4 people. This home is fully furnished with all the essentials you will need. Not suitable toddlers.

Our cabin will be waiting for your arrival or return, well equipped with a 55" TV above the gas fireplace, a comfortable King size bed, and an amazing back porch with a Weber Grill and huge hot tub.
