Hideaway Loft is a beautiful thatched, detached/entire property located in the small village of Laversdale, within Hadrian’s Wall Country, Cumbria. It features an enchanting garden with cottage garden style, surrounding stone walls, grottos, water and other quirky features. Willow arches protect a peaceful sitting glade beside a rill and pond, and there are various seating areas around the garden. The property has stunning views of the Lake District, the Pennines and the Scottish border hills.

Free on street parking is available nearby (100m approx)

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
