The house offers an open plan lounge, kitchen dining room and a kingsize groundfloor ensuite bedroom, along with two bright twin bedrooms upstairs, and shared bathroom. Sleeps 6. Guests can enjoy access to the beautiful Mondego River, ideal for relaxing and swimming. The property also features a swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna. There is a fully equiped do-jo style gym area viewing onto the river, and a shared communal chill out space with a BBQ, perfect for outdoor meals, and enjoying nature.

A Casa Aurora (CA) é uma antiga habitação familiar recentemente remodelada. Ao passear pela CA vai cruzar-se com alguns retratos da família da Aurora e com alguns objetos em "lata" que sussurram a história da antiga latoaria do João que em tempos habitou a cave. Tal como uma boa casa de família, a CA recebe muita gente nos seus 4 quartos com cama de casal, na sala com sofá-cama, na cozinha equipada, nos 2 WC e ainda na fantástica churrasqueira e forno a lenha no jardim! You will stay on our lovely farm, sharing with no other guests. Close to The Serra da Estrela Mountains, lots of beautiful river beaches and historical cities. It is a traditional, cozy and private granite cottage situated in a quiet river valley surrounded by woodland, birds and wildlife, with EXCLUSIVE use of our salt water pool. the house is good for couples, families (with kids) we do not charge more during holiday times, same great price all year, and pets (but please check first).

It has heaters in the bedrooms, air conditioning in the living room. The living room has a fireplace. The stairs to the second bedroom are Santos Dumont stairs: sloping, with each step going back on the side that won't be used for the ascent). Among the services we offer is breakfast, which is optional (8€ a day, per person).

Authentically renovated village house

Our authentically renovated, stone village house is located in the quiet and friendly village of Andorinha in Central Portugal. We created a modern space with as much comfort as possible yet keeping the eccentricity of the house. Make sure you take advantage of the wood burning hot tub and enjoy a few hours soaking, while sipping on a nice glass of wine. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: The downstairs large bedroom is accessed externally through the front courtyard NOT from inside the house.

House of Schist in the center of Portugal

Three schist houses being restored at the village of Cunqueiros, in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova, form the Casas da Encosta project. Here it’s possible to relive the life history and culture of the region’s people in the comfort of a typical Portuguese village. According to the owner, Nuno Caldeira, the houses are being restored following the local construction tradition where schist, clay and wood are featured. One of them, Casa da Lagariça, has already opened.

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home.
