This Airbnb is a cultural experience, and it might not be for you. That’s ok. A meaningful specific can’t possibly please everyone. Racism, sexism, homophobia, etc have no place here. We are a predominantly Spanish-speaking community. You can purchase fresh Tamales, Pupusas, etc from our street vendors. We are next to an elementary school on a semi-busy street. Indoor, it's a comfortable apartment with a fully-equipped kitchen, work area, dining room space, and full bathroom with a high-standard rainy shower. Outdoor, the magical garden has a pond with red fishes; two squirrels will welcome you, jumping in the careful forest. A stylish deck offers a pleasant outdoor breakfast experience. Smoking, vaping, e‑cigarettes are allowed in the outdoor space.

Fully-equipped studio in victorian home

Fully-equipped studio apartment in Alameda victorian home. Spacious, with modern amenities (WiFi, Netflix), free coffee and tea, queen-size bed, and big yard, shared with the main house. Separate entrance through the backyard. Young kids live in the upstairs house part-time (see “other notes”) and can be loud until 9:30pm. We’re a dog-friendly space and love hosting pups (maximum of 2, house trained)! Please note that we’re not able to accommodate cats at this time. Lab lives in property.

Beautiful private 1 bedroom apartment w/ Bay views

Little Yellow Door is a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen on the lower level of our home in the Oakland hills. It's very cozy, has a completely private entrance, and is pet friendly! Lots of plants, antiques and art. You can enjoy morning coffee from the deck while looking out at the Bay! This is an older house- you will hear us and our pets walking around upstairs. Important: There are two flights of stairs to get to the apt. Easy street parking!
