This peaceful, refurbished farmhouse has retained its original, rustic charm. Built in the late 19th century and boasting many original features, it includes a lounge with log fireplace, kitchen, three bedrooms, upstairs and downstairs shower and toilet, a huge garden and car parking space. The property is situated to nearby St Jean D'Angely, Rochefort, Bordeaux, Cognac and many other destinations. Supermarkets are a 10-minute drive away. The property is easy to reach from nearby motorways.

Charming and cozy cottage by the Charente river

Welcome to our home in Verteuil! We have made this house a comfortable & cozy place to stay. The house has 3 independent bedrooms (1 with an attached bath), an additional one & a half bathroom, a downstairs salon & an upstairs tv room. The house comfortably sleeps 6 people & does have a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped so enjoy a snack in the kitchen or a full meal in the dining room! A highlight of the house is the private dock. Have a drink on the dock and enjoy the view!

Hiking, golf, tennis, horse riding and cycling. 2 major bathing areas at the bicycle distance from the house. 2 minute walk to the local bakery and restaurants. The house offers a nice garden, several nice patios. Perfect for a family/group of 7-9.

A large, impressive space for social living, ideal for families; enclosed garden with its pool (private) offers a safe space for children to play, including slide, swings and small sandpit. The air conditioned gites all have private terraces offering views across the valley with fields of sunflowers and vines. Maison ancienne ( avec la fibre ) juste rénovée avec terrasse et plancha. Amenagement interieur soigné. Cuisine bien équipée. Le logement est ideal pour 3 voir 4 personnes. Vous serez a proximité d un des plus beaux villages de france: Aubeterre avec ces plages fluviales permettant de nombreuses activités comme la baignade, le canoë mais aussi la marche, le vtt dans la campagne et les bois environnants.
