A peaceful rural retreat

"A recently refurbished self-contained annex in the midst of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Close to the Chilterns, the pretty market towns of Thame and Watlington and just 20 minutes drive from Oxford. There are excellent walks and numerous pubs and restaurants with delicious food and warm fires. The property is a separate annex from the main house and is perfect for a relaxing break. It has a sitting area and kitchen, a bedroom with beautiful views, a superking bed and a modern bathroom.

This one bedroom apartment is annexed within our family home but benefits from its own entrance and facilities. Quiet village location but easy access to transport links (Heathrow is 20 mins drive, London 35 mins on the train). We are on the edge of the Chilterns, an UNESCO recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are taking bookings using the Covid19 guidelines and legislation set out on the UK government website. If the road map changes then availability may also need to change.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - its now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. This beautiful home is situated right in the heart of the Chilterns AONB. Perfectly located for walkers, cyclists, travellers and commuters. Chesham Tube Station is 7 mins walk from the house with a direct tube into central London. Luton Airport is 30 mins and Heathrow T5 is 35 mins away by car. The area boasts some of the best walking and cycling in the country. It's only a 7 mins walk into the town centre with all amenities.
