Silk Purse Cottage (ca. 1920) is in scenic, historic Chester County, PA 6 miles from the PA turnpike. It is a completely renovated, private cottage on a 6 acre property. Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Visitors who are interested in gardening, history and outdoor activities will find many opportunities close by. Hike, fish, go boating or mountain biking one mile away at Marsh Creek State Park. Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, Lancaster and Philadelphia are all a short distance by car.

Experience a lakeside vacation in our Yurt, located on a private dock with a paddleboat. 2 bedrooms, queen bed in the primary bedroom, twin-over-full in the second bedroom, and twin mattress in the loft to comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. Rental is furnished, provides a bathroom, ceiling fan, TV, heat & A/C. Kitchen includes a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and utensils. Covered cooking area with a charcoal grill outside. Please bring bed linens, towels, blankets & pillows.
