1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Situated in the coveted Chew Valley area, this cottage offers a harmonious balance between rural living and convenient access to modern amenities including the cities of Bath, Bristol and Wells. very easy access to Bristol airport. The surrounding area boasts a wealth of outdoor activities, including hiking trails, cycling routes, and the picturesque nearby Chew Valley Lake. The Old Stable is a beautiful one-bedroom detached barn conversion which can accommodate up to four guests. Newly renovated in 2021 to a luxurious standard with plenty of character, beamed ceilings, bifold doors and stylish furnishings. The property has breathtaking views over the Mendips and the Chew Valley Lakes. There is even a walk down to the lake which is 400 yards away. One well behaved dog is welcome. Please ensure that when you make your booking you add the £10 pet fee.

'The Showman's' with amazing view & hot tub option

Once the family home to a circus ringmaster, this bohemian touring apartment has been lovingly renovated by Arcadia’s creative team. The spacious yet cosy Showman’s opens onto a private terrace with breathtaking views over a woodland canopy and Chew Valley Lake. There is also a private hot tub which can be booked before your stay for an additional cost of £70 for a session.
