Firefly Season in the Woods at the Blue Cottage

The Blue Cottage is nestled in the woods atop beautiful, historic Lookout Mountain. A nature getaway. It comfortably accomodates 2 people. Within walking distance of the Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding) and within an easy 7-8 mile drive to Rock City, Point Park and Ruby Falls. Cloudland Canyon State Park is just down the road and offers wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls. Pets are allowed. Prior approval and pet fee is required. Waterfront Cottage at Ketners Mill Arena-2

1 bedroom relaxing cottage with a pullout sofa for additional guests. This cottage has a full kitchen - 1 bath and a very nice deck where you can hear the sounds of Ketners Mill dam. This property is a great get away but also not to far away from Chattanooga and and has an enormous amount of outdoor activity near by. This cabin sits directly on the Sequatchie River. Fish from your very on secluded beach, kayak down the sequatchie river or take a walk on the farm and pet some of our horses.

Our cottage guests enjoy sitting on the porch overlooking the beautiful pond, taking a leisurely 1/2 mile walk around our pond or sit on the dock fishing, or just listening to the fountain sounds like a waterfall. Our Tudor village is part of Gardens in the Gorge which is tucked into Prentice Cooper State Forest with views of the Tennessee River Gorge and epic views of the Tennessee River (just across the road). The property has four cottages, curated gardens, Windsor Hall (event space), and hiking trials. Guests have access to 15 acres of land to explore and enjoy.

But what we call “going to town” is driving to Flinstone for gas or church. Near Chattanooga, hiking, hang t gliding, 10-20 min to Cloudland Canyon, Rock City, Incline, Sunset Rock, Ruby Falls, TN Aquarium, with Lookout Mtn as backdrop.
