This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures. Firepit and wood available. 5 hiking trails on 300 acres! Nov7-Dec 7th we will have hunters and trails may not be available Important: please read the house rules before booking with pets. We do also have a pet fee.

The Nut House at Trails End, unique forest retreat

The Nut House is nestled in the 65000 + acre Shawnee State Forest. It is a unique COMPLETE get away in the forest in Southern Ohio. This peaceful creek side 520 sq ft apt sits on 2.2 acres. You’ll have your own private outdoor area with charcoal grill & table. Campfire and fishing can be arranged. 2 night min. No drugs. mj ok. Cig users -20ft away from house. Chillicothe is a nice little town & surrounding areas to explore. Make sure explore the soon to be a UNESCO World Heritage site-Junction Earth works & Hopewell Culture National Park, Serpent Mound. Tecumseh! Outdoor Drama, History Museum & Local Restaurants DT.

Cozy Farm Cabin

Authentic log cabin set on an equestrian horse show complex with a few modern amenities. This cabin offers a cozy feel with a small kitchenette and living space. A bathroom addition added to the first floor with a stand up shower. Upstairs offers two double beds. The stairs are original and steep. Plenty of parking available. Pet friendly space. Most weekends we have events at the facility and trucks, trailers and horses will surround the cabin. Located apx 10 miles outside of town.

The Overlook @ River's Edge Bed & Breakfast

Nestled in the trees high above the water, the Overlook Cabin offers a peaceful, comfortable, and intimate experience of the Ohio River, with a large riverfront window, 8x12ft deck, & jacuzzi bath. The 12x40ft space has a queen, 2 twins, another bed in the loft, and a couch, and would be great for families, hunters, or couples. Each day includes 2 made-from-scratch Breakfasts & coffee (up to a $26 value) and owners live onsite should any issues arise. Pet friendly. Free wi-fi available.

Relax outdoors in our hammock or by the fire pit. Stocked community lake for swimming, catch and release fishing and non motorized boats just a few minutes walk from the cabin! Great for cozy nights inside by the fire or as a home base for exploring. Large gravel hill at entrance 4WD required with severe weather conditions (ice or snow).

The Cottage

This is a rural location. Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. Nothing but stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming* and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. Hiking in the woods on the far side of the field will be off limits last week of October through thanksgiving.

The Florence Cabin at Highland Hill

Take it easy at our charming A-frame cabin nestled in the foothills of Appalachia. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience a relaxing and convenient stay on the edge of Waverly City limits. The Florence Cabin is pet friendly, and a fan fave of our Scottish Highland Cows, who like to greet guests as they enjoy the balcony and hot tub. Our A-frame cabin is the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, providing you with an unforgettable getaway.

In the pines cabin

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Experience tiny house living in our little cabin. Enjoy beautiful Rocky Fork Lake, Amish countryside, hike and explore The Arc of Appalachia. Boat rental is just down the road at Bayside Bait and tackle. Our cabin has 2 full size beds upstairs in loft area as well as a comfy queen sofa that makes a decent bed also. There is a small table and chairs. There is also a larger refrigerator on covered back porch.

Maggie’s Rose Cabin

Our cabin is located behind our house nestled in the woods. The cabin is 200 feet from our house to give you privacy. The back of the cabin faces the hollow for added privacy. There is parking in the driveway for parking and turning around. We are 10 minutes from Laurelville and 7 minutes from South Bloomingville so I would suggest having supplies before arrival. We are centrally located between Logan, Circleville and Chillicothe being 30 to 35 minutes from each.
