Newly renovated bunk house on 5 acres surrounded by farmland, wild birds and my Guinea Hens, Chickens and a Peacock. Start your 1400 mile hike on the Ice Age trail. Park car at my place and I’ll drive you to the beginning of the trail. I am also 5 miles from Wild Mountain ski resort and 10 miles from Trollhaugen. Or into wine, three vineyards within 20 minutes and bead shop.

Welcome to the Roost at Unity Farm. Stay under the stars in this luxuriously appointed space with in floor heat and be surrounded by woods and prairie. Ski or hike right out the door. Can be booked along with two other rentals at Unity Farm (The Coop and The Cottage) for a unique group, retreat or family reunion. Outdoor shower is available in the summer. Please note the this listing has a half bath located across from the bedroom which requires going outside very briefly. Kitchenette.

River Song Cottage * quiet retreat

River Song Cottage is nestled along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, near downtown St. Croix Falls. Our home includes 2 bedrooms (1: queen bed, 2: twin over full bunk + twin trundle), 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, open dining and living room area, and a large deck that overlooks the St. Croix River. The wooded area between our yard and the river is National Park Service land. Public walking paths can be accessed through the visitor center next door.

Enjoy your summer on the lake or cozy up for a night in with the heated floors during the winter months. Snacks and a coffee, fresh ground from our local roaster (Dark or light roast - your choice!) Onsite laundry/gas grill/full kitchen/yard games/paddle boat/canoe Entrance on lower level is wheelchair accessible.

Besides lake access to N Lindstrom Lake (bring those boats/kayaks!), it’s also easy access to Lindstrom itself, a short walk up the hill to all the quaint little shops.
