Motherby House

Motherby House is an 18th century grade II traditional farmhouse, the house has lost none of its original charm. Hooks embedded in oak beams show where bacon was once cured and log fires add to the warm homely atmosphere. Families are always welcome. Unwind and relax in our oak beamed living room with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and a selection of home made cakes. There is off road parking and secure storage for cycles. The hamlet of Motherby, is positioned between Penrith and Keswick.

Orchard Hideaways 2 - Darcy Spice

It comes complete with a fridge, kettle, microwave, plates, bowls, mugs and cutlery. It is fully insulated, with heating, lighting and a plug socket. The pod can accommodate three guests with bunk beds and a single. For those that don’t mind a squeeze, a fourth guest can sleep on a single mattress on the floor. Each pod has an outdoor bench and BBQ point for disposable BBQs. A fourth guest and a wide range of optional extras can be added within our online self-check-in guest portal.

Welcome to Eskdale Hotel, the former 18th century coaching inn is situated in the centre of Langholm Marketplace. The hotel has recently had a change of ownership with the new owners making a considerable financial investment to improve both the accommodation, bars and dining areas.New menus have been introduced to both the formal and casual dining areas. Breakfast now includes a continental buffet as well as a full cooked Scottish breakfast.Free car parking is available to guests.

The new owners, Cath and Adrian, have done a great job of renovating this 300 year hotel in the historic village of Ecclefechan.
