The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Built in 1860 for workers at the nearby cotton mill, this home has many period and original features. In the Weaving Shed of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The small rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). Popular tourist towns of Skipton and Haworth are nearby. * Shed End and my other place, The Workshop, are in the same building.

This is a beautiful modern self contained studio space that is attached to a barn conversion. This provides a spacious open living area with a fully equipped kitchen and utensils for cooking. It has 2 single beds with a bathroom off the main area. Bedding and a selection of bath and hand towels are provided. There is some complementary tea, coffee and milk. You have reserved parking outside the property. We are very close to Holmfirth its 5.4 miles 13 min drive
