Copper Mine Cottage

Built between 1846 and 1847 by the SA Mining Association and designed by G.S Kingston, this was one of the ‘Thames Street Cottages’. Copper Mine Cottage is one of the first buildings to be built in Burra, and is a fine example of one of the the earliest residential buildings that still remains in South Australia.
