Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage on the farm. Our cottage is nestled on 150 acres in Independence, MO. This home offers a living room, dining room (seats 8), full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, a laundry room/mudroom, and 3 bedrooms. (King, Queen and full bed). You will find a front and side porch to sit and relax as well as a private back patio where your family can enjoy a fun evening. Each bedroom offers a comfortable bed, hangers for clothing, and a fan to help you relax.

Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from everything you want to do, your whole group will have easy access from this centralized location. A small water park, football field, walking track, tennis and basketball courts are right across the street. Police and fire, 3 block away. Bar, restaurant, grocery and liquor stores within walking distance. This is the Mayberry of the Andy Griffith show hidden in the middle of a big city. A charming, safe, low traffic area makes our town a hidden gem.

Secluded Silo

Peaceful unique place in the valley where a rooster crow is all you will hear in the morning. Drink coffee on a private deck that overlooks the koi pond with a peaceful fountain. Short drive to I-435 and I-35. About half hour drive to Royals and Chiefs stadiums, downtown KC and Kansas speedway! Minutes from the bike and walking trails that circle Smithville Lake! Caution- steep narrow stairs inside. Please use the outside stairs to carry luggage inside to the bedroom quarters.
