The Rimu Hut - Cosy Bush Escape

A tramping-style A-frame chalet nestled against rimu trees on the edge of a stunning 15-acre native forest block close to the Hunua Ranges in rural South Auckland. Built by the owners using macrocarpa timber grown on the property, it was intended to be a place where their grandchildren could enjoy sleepovers in the forest and afternoon adventures. They soon realised though, that such a special place should be shared so they decided to make it available to others. Cosy in winter, cool in summer!

Nirvana Farm is primarily an equestrian lifestyle property set on 30 acres. Off peak it's just 40 minutes from downtown Auckland and 25 minutes from Auckland Airport. Accommodation is available in our private and spacious self contained two bedroom apartment. The homestead and apartment is set amongst expansive lawn, ponds and formal gardens, 1 km from the popular Clevedon Village. We would like to welcome you to our little slice of heaven. We are situated on a 4 aces block in beautiful Whitford east Auckland, with lovely native bush surrounding the property. We have a small flock of the cutest sheep in the world. The apartment is fully self contained with own private entrance and kitchen. 30 mins from the CBD and 30 mins from Auckland international airport. To avoid disappointments please don’t request the farm for functions.

Our Airbnb is a small self-contained guest house away from the main family home. It has its own ensuite bathroom, sun deck, TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, bar fridge and microwave. It overlooks the rolling hills of Waikato and you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from your own deck. It is located in the rural area of Pokeno south of Auckland. It’s conveniently close to SH1 and SH2, but far enough to not hear any traffic.

Meet us at the Treehouse by the sea, only 300 metres from Maraetai Beach, which means meeting place by the sea. This gem is a special place. Have coffee with the kereru, wake up to the tuis, swim in the turquoise waters of the bay and enjoy the tranquil life of Maraetai. This sleepout is located on our property only a short walk to the beach; you will enjoy peace, the sounds of the creek running below and the visiting bird life.
