O'Rourkes Cottage Retreat Glenasmole

O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. Located near the sleepy village of Kilmessan, 1.5km from Station House Hotel, 6km’s from the ancient Hill of Tara, a 45-minute drive from Dublin.

The Coach House

The Coach house has recently been lovingly restored and is full of charm and light. It has a calm, tranquil feel with every comfort a visitor could wish for. It is the perfect place for an Irish getaway nestled on the shores of Blessington lake and surrounded by the majestic Wicklow Mountains. Within 10 mins there are the villages of Ballymore Eustace and Hollywood both with wonderful Gastro-pubs and Blessington for all shopping. Russborough House is also close by and is truly worth visiting.

Resembling a Tuscan Farmhouse this 200 years old coach house is simply irresistible. The building was elegantly restored after lying dormant for decades. Its situated to the rear of a private home and only 10 mins walk from Ranelagh and 15 mins from Ballsbridge. Peaceful and charming you wont want to leave…. Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.
