~ the hunting huts~ a fresh take on the kiwi bach

The quintessential kiwi bach, simple and functional, set in complete privacy within our farm on a stunning site high above all else. Originally hunting huts, this unique holiday home is actually four separate buildings that are linked by a large outdoor deck. We replaced roofing, renewed the decking and renovated the insides to create a unique holiday home that has a special character all its own. The front two pods are the living spaces: kitchen/dining and lounge each with stacker doors which open up onto the central deck. The two rear pods are identical in configuration, each split into a double room and a bunk room with internal access to each other, perfect for one family per pod. The bathroom adjoins the lounge and has a shower over a bath, a toilet and a double vanity. The utility room has washer, dryer and laundry tub and a second toilet. The outdoor shower on the northern deck is a completely open showering experience! Both double bedrooms enjoy the unequalled lake views and you'll wake to see the sun rising over Mount Tarawera. A genuine Stoked Hot Tub sits under a pohutukawa on the edge of the front lawn and is a perfect way to relax and enjoy the vista by day and the famous starfilled lake Tarawera sky by night. The lake bach is ideally suited for... ROMANTIC ESCAPES Think fluffy white towels, crisp sheets on a plush super king bed, relaxing together with the stunning lake and mountain backdrop, long soaks in the luxurious Stoked hot tub and cheeky outdoor shower all set in complete privacy and solitude. Pukehina Seaside Escape

Renovated beachfront holiday home with stunning sea views, open-plan living and great indoor-outdoor flow. Two large bedrooms with good wardrobes and storage, and a third bedroom with two single beds. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living area opens onto a large deck and lawn area with great sun. A second deck with a barbecue catches the last of the evening sun. In addition to the indoor shower, enjoy the ambiance of a private outdoor hot water shower. Fenced off-street parking. Wifi.

This really stunning holiday home is a brand new 2 bedroom bach right across the road from Ohope Beach. Also available is a Kiwiana type caravan with a double bed which sleeps 2 adults and 2 narrow single beds for 2 small children. Please note the house sleeps 4 the extra sleeping accommodation is in the caravan. You will need your own linen if you wish to use this.
