You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. Please note: Guest minimum age on our property is 14

The property has lawn front+ rear with ample secure parking. All amenities including shops, restaurants, bars, pharmacy etc.within 5min drive.On your doorstep you have beautiful coastal walks, sea swimming, surfing, tennis, pitch and putt, sailing, horseriding. Cork City and Airport 25mins away. The area is serviced by a frequent bus route.

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!
