Luxurious Self Catering Annex

Thatched Cottage Annex has been newly converted to a very high standard and offers comfortable self catering accommodation. It is set in two and a half acres of private paddocks and woodland within the South Downs National park and offers easy access to Goodwood Race course, the beautiful villages of Petworth, Midhurst and Arundel and is only 15 miles from the coast. We are pleased to offer private off road parking behind electric gates. You also have your own private dog friendly garden which can be used for Al Fresco dining as it has a BBQ, a large comfortable double bedroom with solid oak flooring, a fully equipped kitchen complete with hob, microwave/oven/grill and fridge, a wetroom walk in shower with underfloor heating and a lovely seating area with leather chairs sky TV and internet access. A mile down the road is Charlie's Farm shop which stocks all their own produce and also provides a selection of wines. Nearby there are numerous cycle paths, walks and golf courses.. We recommend a car but there are a large number of local country pubs within a 3 mile radius that offer a wide varity of menus. Please note: We are now pleased to be able to offer 'Elderflower', our newly acquired Shepherds Hut as an alternative to the annex or to compliment it if four person accommodation is required. The Shepherds Hut is located 50m from the annex, within the grounds of Thatched Cottage. It is also listed on this website.

Situated just a minute from the South Downs Way and short distance from Amberley Station. Good access to local amenities, vineyards, Petworth House, Goodwood, Chichester Theatre, Walking, Cycling and the coast. 5 mins walking distance to village pubs, tearoom and shop. Hand built by myself & Granny Mongolia, the Yurt is a mix of traditional Mongolian design & bohemian chic. As you enter the yurt you will instantly notice a sense of calm & grounding, an ideal retreat from a hectic lifestyle. Surrounded by countryside, the yurt is home to many Mongolian artefacts gifted to me by Granny Mongolia. It features a charcoal bbq & stove. Sandy Lane Cottage 'The Annexe'

A peaceful 1 double bedroom en suite annexe (attached to house but seperated by a locked door) within the South Downs National ParK. A short drive takes you to Goodwood, Arundel, miles of South Downs Way walking and various beaches. We offer a self catering kitchenette with light airy living space. Great for walkers, weddings, bikers and for the various Goodwood events (private drive with or garage parking). Very child friendly. Also Qual Sports/remedial massage therapist on site book with Fi.

You will be spoilt for choices with some excellent pubs and restaurants in the area with the fabulous Duke of Cumberland pub a short walk away.

The cottage is newly renovated with many of it's beautiful original features restored. The SHED is ideally located in the beautiful West Sussex countryside just outside the South Downs National Park and a short drive from the coastThere are lovely walking and cycling routes straight from the door. We are well situated for trips to Goodwood ,Fontwell and Cowdray Park.The towns of Guildford,Brighton ,Chichester,Arundel and Petworth are all nearby. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads as there is no fenced area. A travel cot for babies is available.but bedding not provided

Quaint, rustic self-contained studio in Amberley

Enjoy autonomy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Shed is a self-contained annex with its own pathway and entrance. Outside is a secluded seating/breakfast area. On entering you'll find a shower room with heated towel rail and electric shower, dining space for two and a kitchenette. Through a sliding door is a kingsize bed, love-seat, TV with google chrome, books, drawers, somewhere to hang clothes. (To access streaming services, please bring your own account information.)

Nightingale Cabin

The hand-built, eco-friendly wood cabin is in the shaded, far corner of the 1 acre plot, facing south towards downland, across fields and a small pond where water birds gather. The cabin is full of rustic charm. It is a completely secluded and tranquil place, ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a short-term escape from the hassle and bustle of city life. It provides a perfect retreat for writers or artists.
