Welcome to 29 Ebden – your sanctuary to unwind & rejuvenate. Elevated and private, this luxurious architecturally designed home in Hobart's North has all that you need to enjoy a memorable stay in Tasmania. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Derwent River, the house features a large deck & outdoor wood fire pit, as well as a private bath deck. Please note; 29 Ebden's bedrooms are double (queen) share. E.g., if you would like four bedrooms prepared for your stay please book for eight guests.

Free WiFi! Fully self contained & private lower section of house boasting a 5.1 surround sound cinema with 100" projector screen & over 400 dvds! (no tv) Cinemania is a great base from which to explore Hobart & surrounds, & a comfy space to come back to at the end of the day. Private entrance, kitchen facilities, shower/toilet, washing machine, exclusive use of backyard & undercover entertainment area, lovely views of the River Derwent & surrounds. 7 mins to MONA 15 - 20 mins to Hobart CBD

Outside sheltered nooks for reading or quiet contemplation of the expansive valley and hillsides. Gentle and more extensive bush walking tracks just 3 mins away. A peaceful space with wallaby and birdlife action and impressive mountain (Kunanyi) views. Close to the bush yet also close to the North Hobart food and entertainment strip and Hobart City centre.

Nearing the top of the hills, backing on to peaceful bushland, you will most likely see a few Kangaroos.

The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

The garden features English trees planted in colonial settlement days circa 1807 to 1850. Excellent shopping opportunities within 5 kilometres; 45 minutes to Hobart: 1hour to airport; 20 minutes to Mount Field National Park.
