Davies Cottage, cosy, comfortable base

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

There is a little fishing village with shops and restaurants a short walk along the promeade, colwyn bay has a train station and a selaction of shops cafes pubs and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. A short drive to Conwy you can uncover some of the towns Medieval history including Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr and the smallest house in Great Britain.

The apartment is ideally located with direct access to the A55 expressway, a perfect location for activities and exploring North Wales. Please be warned about the road noise from A55 though if you are after a complete peaceful location.

With private stepped access to the beach, our home comfortably sleeps 4 across 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, but can sleep up to 6 using the sofa bed in the second lounge. Enjoy sunsets from the decking relaxing on our sun loungers or find secluded spots on the cliff tops for even more privacy. The Annexe adjoins Ty Deryn Y Mor (also a holiday let), each has their own private garden, decking and path to the beach.

The views from the apartment are amazing. You are next to the sailing club and near several golf courses . Within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The walks in the area are many and you have direct access to the beach from the garden. Don’t leave your dog at home. I love well-behaved dogs and they will love the beach. The apartment is very quiet being well away from the main road.

Llanw is a newly built house right opposite the water's edge. Llanw is Welsh for "Tide" which you can watch slowly flowing in and ebbing out. The estuary is a haven for many species of birds. There are also views of the Snowdonia mountain range and of the Rivals. The World Heritage site of Caernarfon is only 4 miles away and the long sandy beach of Dinas Dinlle is 3 miles away.
