Steel Magnolia Cottage

This is a small farmhouse built in 1895. Originally this cottage was a "dog trot" having a large center hall the dogs could run in through the front door and out the back! There is a trundle bed (two twins) that convert into a king in what would have been the "dog trot." The bedroom has a queen bed. The living area has a nice blow up mattress on legs and a pull out sleeper sofa. There are two full baths, a kitchenette with a coffee pot, convection toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator.

Private upstairs room with private bath across hallway. Queen bed, desk and shared kitchen privileges. Light breakfast included. (cereal, juice, coffee, tea, etc.) This room can be combined with another space (middle of nowhere too) which is on the same floor and has a queen bed and bunks. We also have a third space (middle of nowhere) in the basement of the house which can accommodate a good size family or group. If you need to host a group, contact us to see what we can work out.

The Garden Room is 1 of 2 available bedrooms in our beautiful 1922 Colonial Revival home on 2 acres downtown Thomaston. It is a nice size bedroom on the 2nd floor with a private bath within the room and a full size bed. There's also a closet. Just down the hall is a 2 room lounge for your enjoyment. If interested, please see our other room (The RedHat Room). It's a little larger with a queen bed and full bath within the room . Both are very nice rooms.
