The Country Ranch

Nestled in the Laurel Highlands on 3 acres of private ground with surrounding farmland. Peaceful & private, this property offers a large backyard with amazing sunset views & starlit night skies. This vacation home is 3 miles from the Markleton GAP trailhead and 10 miles from Youghiogheny Lake. Other nearby attractions include Mt Davis (the highest point in PA), High Point Lake, Ohiopyle, Falling Water, Kentuck Knob, Seven Springs & Hidden Valley Ski Resorts, and Laurel Hill & Kooser State Parks.

If you enjoy privacy and pretty scenery this is the place for you. Enjoy nature and the sounds of waterfalls from the elevated deck. This two bedroom house is all by itself with an updated kitchen. Just a short drive to Laurel Caverns, Falling Water and Ohiopyle. There is plenty of firewood on site for campfires. The long driveway is dirt and gravel and rough and you have to ford a small stream. You don’t need a 4 wheel drive but you do need a vehicle with clearance. Pickup or SUV recommended.

Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.
