This romantic retreat is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Butterton which overlooks the beautiful Manifold Valley in the Peak District. The lanes are lined with pretty sandstone cottages and an idyllic ford runs through the cobbled street below the cottage and a great country pub is round the corner. This cosy hideaway is an ideal couples escape featuring a stunning bedroom with vaulted beamed ceiling and luxury features throughout. It has a boutique hotel feel in rural heaven.

Mull Barn, Elm Tree Farm

Mull Barn, with a unique style of its own, has recently been converted into a cozy, comfortable and well equiped holiday hide away within a Grade II listed farmhouse. Located in the Staffordshire Moorlands village of Kingsley, within a few miles of the Staffordshire & Derbyshire Peak District, 1 mile from the Churnet Valley Railway and 13 minutes from Alton Towers, you wil be handily placed to explore this beautiful countryside including the popular locations of Dovedale and the Roaches .

Purpose built annex. Fully functional kitchen. Large living area with patio doors looking out onto a large lawned garden & seating area. WiFi & SKY. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish cottage nestled in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands village of Kingsley, on the cusp of the Churnet Valley, 10 minutes from Alton Towers. This newly refurbished cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and the other with bunks including 1.5 modern bathrooms. Parking for 1 vehicle. Ideal for families and walkers alike. Dogs welcome. There is a small courtyard only but plenty of walks and fields for exercising your 4-legged friend.

The barn

Enjoy vast countryside views, this holiday let is detached and adjacent to the owners’ farmhouse but with its own private garden, is within easy reach of a huge variety of visitor attractions on the borders of the Peak District National Park. Hollins Lane is easily accessible from the house, The beautiful Churnet Valley, with steam trains, wildlife reserves are close by, Within 10 miles are Alton Towers, Splash Landings, Waterworld, Trentham Gardens, Monkey Forest and pottery museums.

The Woodland Watch

If you are looking to have a relaxing break away from life’s stresses then The Woodland Watch is perfect. The hut is warm and cosy with all modern amenities set on a working dairy farm. Unwind with the beautiful views and stunning sunsets whilst listening to the woodland wildlife. There are also many lovely walks in our area and good access to local shops. We also have a two bedroomed property called Rock End Retreat located at the same address if guests wish to bring a larger group.
