The vision for this home came about after we traveled in Europe and fell in love with the calming, slow-paced lifestyle of villages along the coast, mixed with rich architecture focused on natural elements & a soothing palettes. The Live Oak Cottage is a beautiful guest house situated under sprawling live oak trees. The suite and main house was originally a US Coast Guard Lifesaving Station built in 1901 - and moved to its current location in the 60s. The suite has been restored to bring it up to date with modern amenities, while retaining its rustic charm. A kitchenette, with fridge, toaster, plug in cook top + more. Sit back and relax on your private deck with a grill or walk to the beach in just 5 minutes.

Updated Outer Banks beach cottage located in Corolla. Conveniently located a 2-3 minute walk from the ocean. Our cottage is perfect for families and friends. The upstairs has three bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. The downstairs is detached from the upstairs with a private entrance. This room is a bedroom/game room with a half bathroom. There is an outdoor shower located outside this room. We hope you make many wonderful memories at our cottage and want to return year after year.
