This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Basecamp Chalet gives guests the opportunity to gaze over Strathcona Park, watch the sunrises, sunsets, and moonscapes, and have a the perfect spot to experience storm watching and the snow flakes fall. A pacific northwest gem! Our family beach house is front row overlooking a rocky beach and mainland mountains. Our ocean view is great for bird and wildlife watching (popular channel for whale commuting as well as the salmon capital of the world). We're close to the Kay Dubois trail which my Grampa made and named after my grandma.
