Donegal was voted the "Coolest place on the planet’ by National Geographic. Our stone cottage is a restored farm building ( circa 1852 ), it is part of our home property, close to the main house. The restoration has a modern touch with tranquil decor. Our property is primate and secluded, in the countryside of rich farmlands of Donegal. Beltany Circle is 5 minutes walk and the historic village of Raphoe makes this the ideal location from which to explore the magic of ‘coolest Donegal’

Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

The Cart House at Teach Neilí

Close to the beautiful Blue Flag beach at Nairn on The Wild Atlantic Way , this is a renovation of the old cart house at Teach Neilí, which combines the character of the original stone walls with views of Loughfad in a warm, comfortable cottage. Stunning views of the lake from the living room - loads of room to relax - close to Glenties and Ardara for shops, pubs & restaurants. Great WiFi!! Dora’s cottage is located in Malinmore, Glencolumbkille on the spectacular Slieve League Peninsula. The village is surrounded by mountains, lakes, rocky sea cliffs, wildlife and sandy beaches. Dora’s cottage is a short distance from Malinmore pier and has beautiful coastal walks. The cottage has been lovingly restored and in keeping with the charm of an old cottage style. All the modern day comforts of WiFi, oil central heating and modern bathroom make for a comfortable stay.

Enjoy your breakfast in the kitchen or unwind in the sauna, all while soaking in stunning sea views at our coastal retreat. Perched on the edge of a tranquil harbour, this bungalow boasts wraparound vistas of the sea and Arranmore Island. Sliding glass doors open the lounge-diner onto the terrace where you can step outside and take in the coastal setting. The location is quiet and secluded and yet still just a short, scenic walk from the town of Burtonport.

This is a wonderful space to relax beside the fire with modern facilities. Letterkenny is a 10 minute drive, Derry City 30 minutes, 2 miles from the Wild Atlantic Way Route
