Charming Plant Based Artistic Retreat

Our guesthouse is situated next to our home. We are two artists/designers who work from our home art studio's. The guesthouse is peaceful & secluded with lovely countryside views. An ideal hikers/writers retreat, perfect for someone who would like to connect to nature, read, paint, bike, hike, rest. Carrowkeel is a 5,000 year old Neolithic burial site, great hiking only 13km away. Keash Caves - a series of limestone caves with 16 chambers, some interconnecting is 8km away.

Cosy, small, twin room cabin with ensuite.

The cabin is located in a beautiful scenic and secluded area surrounded by trees and wildlife close to the Bricklieve mountains and the Carrowkeel megalithic tombs. Facilities include tea and coffee, a toaster and a mini fridge. No pets. Shower and toilet. There are many walking routes in the area and also fishing close by. It is approx. 20 mins drive from Sligo town and 2.5 hrs from Dublin. There is a pub which serves food approx. 2kms from the cabin. NO SMOKING

Perfect as a stop-over whilst exploring the Wild Atlantic Way or stay longer and enjoy the Glens of Leitrim and the Dartry Mountains, and then visit the amazing sites of County Sligo and County Donegal.

We are located on the N4 Carrick-on-Shannon, very close to Carrick-on-Shannon town. All bedrooms are Ensuite with Power Shower, TV & Tea/Coffee Making Facilities. The cottage is located 3 km from Ballinameen village. Nearest towns Frenchpark, Boyle and Carrick on Shannon. The cottage was completly renovated in 2020. Large conservatory attached for use in any weather. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the area with your family. The holiday home is ideally located for day trips and different activities.
