Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

There are books & dvds and satellite tv with all the Irish & English channels. The town is walking distance from the house, with lots of shops and entertainment, as is Carrowmore beach, which you can see from the deck. Turn your head the other way and you can see Croagh Patrick! Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Salthouse Bay Lodge

This beautifully finished house is set in a fabulous lakeside site on the edge of Lough Corrib, one of Irelands largest lakes. The site is in the most tranquil of areas, no road noise or sounds of the hustle and bustle of modern living, just the calming sound of the lake and of the wildlife surrounding you. The garden is a rewilding experiment in progress, with the intention that over time the native flora and fauna will establish itself as nature intended.
