Mountain Hideaway with Cave Bar & Hot Tub

Nestled within the Slievenamon mountains, this cosy countryside apartment offers the perfect escape with your own private hot tub (available for €30 per night- payable on arrival. Please provide 24 hours’ notice if you would like to use) fire pit, or spend the evening in our cave bar. The apartment follows a traditional layout featuring an open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy sitting area, and bedroom with a double bed. There is also a small separate room with a single bed.

The cosy cabin features one double and one single bedroom, seperate fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, lounge with sofa, Smart TV with HDMI, Fibre broadband, gas stove and dining table, bathroom with hand basin, toilet and shower. The cabin has double glazed windows with central heating, patio doors opening to south facing veranda with patio furniture and private car park. Quiet surrondings with views of the mountains. Very functional and homely.

We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Our rustic 21 ft wooden yurt is set in the Galtee Mountains with hiking & biking at your doorstep. Less than 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and very close to Ballykeefe amphitheatre. 5 minutes drive to callan.
