Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Fogarty’s Flying Diamond Ranch

A unique and beautiful, newly added bunkhouse on the upper level of a barn on a working cattle ranch! Completely private and peaceful, you'll hear birds chirping and tractors running. Overlook and explore 152 acres of trails, horses, cattle and much more. Guests are encouraged to experience a tour of the ranch with Rancher Tom free of charge! 10 minutes from Silver Beach/Downtown St. Joseph and Hagar Beach, both on the gorgeous Lake Michigan. It's just a 15-minute drive to South Haven and 24 minutes to St. Joseph, both of which have an abundance of wineries, beaches, restaurants, and family-friendly attractions nearby.

Up North

Up North and its sister cabin Green Acres are both comfortable one bedroom cabins with screened in decks on a wooded setting. There is a trail right outside the front door that leads to a sitting area on the Black River. The river is shallow with a sandy bottom. Perfect for dogs that love to swim. Along the way you’ll see the best of nature including creeks, ravines, hills, and probably some wildlife. The cabins are only 10 minutes away from South Haven’s world class beaches and restaurants.

Home is close to Jollay Orchards & Contessa Wine Cellars. Beautiful St. Joseph and Silver Beach are 20 minutes away.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Nestled among the trees, it provides a quiet getaway from the chaos of life allowing you to recharge and renew. The main residence is approximately 400 feet from the cabin. The cabin is secluded and yet close to local attractions, restaurants, biking and nature trails. The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.
