The Little House Peaceful & self-contained

Located in the centre of the lovely village of Kilburn on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Little House is peaceful, cosy and self-contained, tucked away from the general hustle and bustle of the village with a safe garden for dogs and children. The Forresters Arms, serving local ales and meals, is a mere 20m across the square, it is best to reserve a table. The Mouseman Furniture Centre is just around the corner and the White Horse of Kilburn is a good walk up the hill.

Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Reconnect and wake up into nature at this unforgettable escape. Secluded treehouse with everything you need to soothe and inspire. Self cater, arrange meals provided by your host (a professional chef), or try one of the many eateries in town. Shops nearby. Your own private bathroom is situated a few yards away in the main house. Perfect for couples or small families—well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed.

Welcome to our charming holiday home situated in the stunning Vale of York. Only 10 miles outside the Historic City of York, and providing easy access to both the sensational North Yorkshire Moors and beautiful Dales . We have lovingly transformed our former barn space with relaxation and comfort in mind. With private access and delightful outside space , you are assured a friendly welcome and invited to discover and enjoy all the treasures North Yorkshire has to offer.

Countryside location near to York

Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 4 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

The Retreat

The Retreat is set in a rural location and has lots of original features with a modern feel. With ample off road parking and close to the Stillington-Easingwold road its the perfect base to come back to after a visit to the many local attractions. The market town of Easingwold is 2 miles away and the City of York is 12 miles. The North York moors are close to hand and if you fancy venturing further you have the coast and the Yorkshire dales

Seaves Mill has been converted into this beautiful living space by avid gardeners and architectural antique dealers Phil and Jo. The space has been designed with quality and decorative design in mind. It is set within beautifully landscaped gardens along side the picturesque Mill stream.
