Listen to the coyote's howl, campfires burn bright, and night sky's brindle with the twinkle of distant stars and fireflies. Daytime, pull on your hiking boots and enjoy the nearby state parks, lakes, and waterfalls. Just 3.5 miles off I-40, bounce in town or down the mtn for the perfect meal. Zipline, paddleboat, campfires & memories abound! Hosts live on property/avail 24/7.

Cabin on the Hill wheelchair Accessible, king bed

$90 a night for the first 2 guests. Additional $20 a night per guest. NO SMOKING, NO PETS The main cabin includes two-bedrooms (sleeps 6 )one bath, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room. Handicap accessible with wide doors and large shower. This cabin is everything you need for your next vacation! It is located in a quiet rural country area where you can see the stars at night and green pastures in the day. The studio apartment next door is separate from the cabin. It is not included

Tiny Home on Center Hill Lake

Our Tiny home sits right on Center Hill Lake at Mine Lick Creek. You can hike, ski, kayak or launch your boat from directly behind the house! Cookeville Boatdock is a short drive away, or a 10 min boat ride will take you to Hurricane Marina…both full service marinas! We are 25 min from I-40 at Baxter exit 280, and Cookeville exit 286. Hike or Kayak up to waterfalls at Burgess Falls, Window Cliff, or any one of the area’s many State Parks! So come out & enjoy a great time with us here on CHL.

Secluded Log Cabin 1 mi from Cumb Mtn State Park

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located genuine log cabin, once featured in Log Cabin Homes and Log Home Living. This beautiful log home creates a calm space by avoiding overhead lighting on the main floor. The window placement and lamps provide more than enough light without taking away from the natural aesthetic. Master bedroom has a tv, KNG bed, & a private bath with walk-in shower. 2nd FL has a QN bed, 3 TWN beds and full bathroom. *2 add’l TWN beds avail upon request.

You can soak in tranquility at this modern cabin with a hot tub, indoor fireplace and outdoor living space. The Caney Fork River borders the 63 acre farm, which connects directly to over 60,000 acres of protected wilderness where you have free access to miles of hiking trails, magical waterfalls, historic homesteads and impressive caves. At the cabin, you can listen to the sounds of nature as you take in the scenic valley views of Big Bottom and the mountain views of Scott’s Gulf State Park.

Tranquility View Guesthouse

Tranquility View Guesthouse is located 1 mile from the Obed Wild and Scenic River. This secluded guesthouse has a spacious living room, & dining area that seats 6 to relax or watch TV. If indoors doesn't suite you take your meals prepared in the full size kitchen to the front porch or walk the few steps to the firepit and seating. Sleeps up to 6 with the queen bed & ottoman twin bed in bedroom, dual recliner couch & two cots. Full sized bathroom with shower. Front door keypad access.

Cozy Country Cabin

We welcome you to our country cabin, a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway or quiet corner all to yourself. Enjoy the clean, country air and starry night skies away from city lights; on a quiet, low traffic road facing woods and farmland with field, pond, and forest behind. We are just across the field from a working dairy farm and less than a mile from the dairy farm store and creamery where you can find fresh meat, eggs, milk, and some of the country’s best hand-dipped ice cream!

Nestled on a beautiful East Tennessee farm, this cabin has a stunning view of a five acre pond. We have lots of beautiful outdoor opportunities to enjoy nearby such as the Obed Visitor Center, Frozen Head State Park, and the Lilly Bluff overlook. If you are a history buff, the Alvin C York State Historic Park, historic Rugby and Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary are all must sees. Of course if you're looking to relax and just enjoy some country life this is just the place to do so.

A Little Closer to Heaven Primitive Tree house

This little tree house is primitive with no electricity and no water but has a bath house nearby. This is tent camping in a tree house. Located behind the historic R.M. Brooks Store, it is the perfect place to find peace and beauty . Perfect for hikers. Rest in the huge branches of this nearly 100 year old Oak Tree. A Queen bed awaits you for your restful nights sleep. Underneath you can picnic at the table or swing in the swing that hangs below. This is the perfect place to unplug.
