Driveway with parking for 2 cars & a garage with plenty of room to store surfboards & bikes. A pretty paved garden with coastal grasses & seating for 6 on warm evenings.

The beach is award winning and has lifeguards throughout the summer. The surf and sea attracts a great crowd of surfers and families alike. There is a very laid back vibe and you can’t help but relax and everything you need is in walking distance. Sanderling is a very well equipped and fully refurbished.

Your beach retreat starts here... SeaShore Cottage is a contemporary 3-bedroom annex located in the heart of Croyde, North Devon. The property is arranged over two floors. It has wonderful views to the downs of Croyde from the second-floor window. Small dog allowed!

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

The Retreat is surrounded by all the things we love. A 5 minute walk from Croyde village, Croyde beach and a 15 minute walk to Putsborough beach. We hope that you maybe able to park your car on arrival and not need to use it again during your stay. Access up the lane next to the house to wonderful panoramic walks and views of Baggy Point. We hope its a perfect place to rest those sandy feet and unwind after a full day of sea air.
