Bay View Cottage is a fabulous ENTIRE Ulverston home extremely well suited for a romantic escape for two people or for working in the area, or working at home, great WiFi. Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens. It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

Cosy 1 bedroom cottage in the heart of a village

Beautifully renovated cottage in the heart of a thriving yet peaceful village on the edge of the Lake District, close to the northern fells. Within walking distance of a village pub, shop, cafes and gift shop. Caldbeck is situated on the fifth and final section of the Cumbria Way. The cottage is perfect for walkers and non-walkers as there is plenty to do around the area. If you are bringing your dog, please make sure you include them in your booking as there is a charge to bring a pet.

Luxury cosy cottage near Cockermouth

A fabulous cottage on the edge of the Lake District sleeping up to four. Original features with log burner, oak beams, deep bath, comfy beds. Two bedrooms, king size and twin/super king, the twins can be 'zip and linked' together to form super king. Quiet village location with pub. Beautiful lakes and mountains nearby with many an adventure to be had. Cockermouth market town is 4 miles away, with supermarkets, good independent shops, restaurants and cafes.

Wythop School, Lake District

Located in the Lake District National Park on the coast to coast cycle route, Wythop School sits on the side of Ling Fell with views towards Bassenthwaite Lake. The old village school has been renovated to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests. The village has a pub and hotel offering good food and real ale. All other amenities (supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, museums etc) can be found in Cockermouth, a 4 mile drive away.

The Old Map Shop

The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.

The Silo Cumbria

The Silo is a completely unique holiday stay, based in the beautiful countryside in North Cumbria. Originally a grain store tower, it has been completely reimagined and renovated as a one bedroom home-away-from-home. The unique building has retained the shape and structure of the original silo with luxury amenities and finishes throughout.

Black Mesa near Ullswater, Lake District

The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. Only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick!
