Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

Charming handy for Lake District

Archie is a charming bespoke shepherd’s hut, set in its own garden space at the top of our shared garden area. Archie offers a nostalgic space for unwinding, there’s only Archie - no other pods or huts near you. Facing southwest there are lovely views. Archie has a double bed, en-suite shower room and toilet, kitchen area with hob,microwave, fridge, fold out dining table and underfloor heating to keep it cosy. Built from scratch by none other than the owners themselves, the dog-friendly Tweedenburn Shepherd's Hut is more than just a labour of love; it’s also a completely off-grid hut powered by solar panels and in an excellent spot for exploring the Scottish Borders.
