Sandpiper

Sandpiper is located on the idyllic Solway estuary, metres from the water's edge, surrounded by the renowned RSPB Campfield Marsh, an unique wetland of raised peat bogs, marshes and ponds, A haven for a huge variety of bird life, shoreline waders to geese to owls and woodpeckers. Located amid Low Abbey's woodland, rich with narcissi and bluebells in the spring, adjacent to the old damson orchard, at the end of Hadrian's Wall. Nestled in the heart of the English Lake District, Laal Yan offers unobstructed views of the surrounding fells. Located on a farm our Laal hut has everything you need for your stay. Its just a short drive to Keswick and its vibrant town centre where you will find plenty of things to do. Take a stroll across the road to the village of Braithwaite, home to charming pubs, a local shop and a cafe. And with hundreds of walks from the hut you can do as much or as little as you wish.

Shepherd’s Hut, Alston, Cumbria

True countryside living with a touch of comfort. Wind your way into the hills along narrow lanes and eventually come to The Hideaway. Sat on the original stone floor of a former cow byre, our cosy Shepherd’s Hut is surrounded by idyllic countryside and the magical North Pennines AONB. The views are stunning, the peace unbroken and the night skies incredible. It is the perfect base for a few relaxing days in the countryside or to explore the superb hiking and biking routes.

The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door in the morning

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.

Yewbarrow - Shepherd's hut overlooking Wastwater

One of two traditional wooden shepherd's huts situated at the top of the beautiful Wasdale valley on a working Lakeland hill farm. Both huts have spectacular lake views over Wastwater and the surrounding fells and are the perfect bases for outdoor activities. Each hut comes complete with its own bathroom with shower, kitchen area and outdoor seating with BBQ. The shepherd's huts are brand new for summer 2022 and are currently being built from scratch here on the farm.
