Old Clove House

Old Clove House is a traditional Sri Lankan house with colonial architectural influences that has been fully renovated, modernized and now operating as an upmarket vacation rental home. Located in village of Mihiripenna, OCH is just 5 mins from the beach, 15 mins from Galle Fort, and an ideal base for a family or group of friends to explore and enjoy the attractions in and around Galle. This luxurious, comfortable, spacious modern villa, designed by a student of the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa is set in a secluded lush tropical garden with a private swimming pool (25ft x 12ft) in a quiet residential area in the village of Unawatuna. The villa has been designed with 'keeping cool' in mind in this hot climate. The high ceilings and many french doors from all rooms ensure a constant cooling air flow throughout the villa. The villa is approved by the SLTDA.
