Darrington Majestic White Horse Mountain Home

Nestled at the base of snowcapped White Horse Mountain, we are 36 miles to the North Cascades and 71 miles from Seattle. Enjoy hiking and biking in the summer. Cozy up to a warm fire watching the soaring eagles in wintertime. Feed the friendly cows. Fully stocked kitchen with double sinks and ovens, large dining room and great room accommodate family gatherings. Enjoy the basketball court, spacious grounds and raspberries/ blackberries in season. Salmon spawn in the nearby creek in wintertime.

A Shepherd’s Retreat: Stunning Mountain View

Nestled at the foot of Whitehorse mountain in the midst of the North Cascades, a Shepherd’s Retreat is a working sheep farm. The farm is one of the few historic homestead farms in Snohomish County. Located within the North Cascades there is great hiking amazing views within a half hour drive. The town of Darrington is 5 miles away with restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery. The farmhouse has been recently updated and restored to allow guests maximum comfort, but able to live close to the land.

Forest & River Refuge

We offer a comfortable, furnished wall tent with deck in the woods along the Stilliguamish River. It's a private setting well suited to escaping busy urban life. There is a tarped kitchen area for all the cooking, a hot water shower and a gas fire pit for warming up and ambiance as well as a private bench along the river. You can access a rail trail and walk (or bike) 1 mile to Squire Creek or 6 miles to Darrington. We are on the edge of National Forest and there is a lot of hiking nearby.
