Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Families will love this rustic mudbrick cottage on a 10 acre property within a relaxed bush setting. My cabin is close to great views, restaurants, and family-friendly activities. It is self contained and sixty metres from main house, set on 3 acres where complete privacy is assured. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and is pet friendly. Situated in a small hamlet, the views are out to the Ranges and Hanging Rock. Roosters crow in the mornings, and sheep graze just over the fence. Oil heater and electric blankets keep things snug and cozy through winter.
