The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

This property is just 30 - 40 minutes drive to Thredbo or Perisher so you can enjoy simple style accommodation all year round.

Big Yard Escapes has two Tiny Houses set on vast, peaceful bushland near Jindabyne. Mighty gum trees rest on hills rolling down to the rumbling Mowamba River where deer and kangaroos roam. The off-grid Tiny Houses have plush furnishings, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, gas heating and refrigerated airconditioning. Big Yard Escapes also has a web site with videos. Big Yard Escapes does not charge service fees.

A1 @ The Lakehouse is a one bedroom apartment right on the shores of Lake Jindabyne, an easy walk to shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment sleeps 2 people. There is access to the lake from a sandy beach directly in front of the property and a drying room for ski gear. Summer or winter there is no better location in Jindabyne. We also cater for single night stays.
