Welcome to “miles away.” Built originally in 1947, our newly renovated 2-bedroom & 1-bathroom home in Carmel-by-the-Sea honors its history and design character and brings a modern element creating a light-filled, warm, and cozy space to connect with friends & family, or enjoy a slower life. You’re a 15-minute walk to Carmel Beach, restaurants, shops and galleries in downtown. A short drive to Big Sur, 17 Mile Drive, Pebble Beach, Point Lobos, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel Valley, and Seaside.

Santa Cruz A-Frame

This unique A-Frame cabin, in a quiet mountain neighborhood with private creek access, was handbuilt in 1965 and remodeled in the summer of 2024. Take it easy in this cozy cabin retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains. 30 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and beaches. This charming 400 sq. ft. studio is the perfect setting to disconnect from city life and immerse yourself in the redwoods. The cabin features a queen bed, full bathroom, kitchen & BBQ. Miller Suite: Mid Century Modern in the Forest

The Miller Suite was built and finished to complement the 1965 mid-century modern main home that we occupy full time. We share a walkway from the driveway and we access the same outdoor garbage cans, but we share no other circulation. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath, private entry suite is perfect for your next road trip, weekend away, proposal, babymoon, anniversary, or even a romantic place for your quiet elopement. Nestled in the oaks behind a privacy fence, the entire property feels secluded.

Carmel Rustic Cabin Like a Treehouse + Dog

Stay in our Carmel Rustic Cabin along with your dogs (see dog fee below) while shopping, visiting local wineries and restaurants or just walking your dog off-leash along Carmel's white sandy beach. Hidden in the woods, our rustic cabin is like a treehouse with all the amenities and minutes from downtown and the beaches. FYI the coast drive is now accessible between here and LA, but may be shut down during stormy weather, so be sure to follow local weather reports or just call Caltrans.

Treetop - Serene,Centrally Located Forest Retreat

Nestled amongst a canopy of trees right off of the 17 mile drive, “Treetop” offers the quintessential Pebble Beach experience. Tastefully decorated interiors along with expansive upper and lower level decks offer plenty of space to soak in the peaceful surroundings. The home is close to iconic spots inside the community, but also has easy access to the Highway 1 gate making the other gems of the Monterey peninsula from Point Lobos to Carmel-by-the-Sea all less than 15 mins away.

Pebble Beach Guest House

Pebble Beach guest house located in the quiet Del Monte Forest, a golf destination and gated community. 650 sq.ft. 1 bedroom with queen bed, living room, gas fireplace, WiFi, TV, kitchenette, private deck with fire pit and hot tub. 7 min walk to the ocean. 3 min drive to The Inn at Spanish Bay. 5 miles to the Pebble Beach Lodge. Portable crib available. No pets. No smoking on property.
