Gilbertsville is one of only two New York villages which are included in the National Historical Register in their entirety. Our Bed and Breakfast is located in a historic 1820s building, which has housed numerous businesses through the years, including a bank and grocery. At one time, it was the print shop that published The Otsego Journal and was formerly the home of Tarot Designing and Printing. The Bed and Breakfast is located on the second floor of the Print Shop. Nestled in this quaint 200-year-old village, it is next to the historic mansion, The Majors Inn, and across from The Value Way Country Store and the studios of various craftspeople and artists. The Bed and Breakfast acquired its name from the 1852 Signature Quilt which is featured along with other antique and contemporary quilts from the Butternut Valley. Our clean, comfortable, and convenient facilities will appeal to those visiting the Gilbertsville area, as well as those interested in quilts and Central New York Leatherstocking history. We will provide a selection of breakfast foods for you to choose from to create your own breakfast. Whether you stay one night or several, you will have a delicious variety of cereals, pancake/waffle mix, english muffins and eggs to eat. There is a delicious bakery across the street. Creekside Greek Revival Cottage

Newly restored 1840s Greek Revival cottage with new kitchen, two new bathrooms with showers (no tub) and new mechanical systems, two bedrooms, parking and vegetable and flower gardens with creek and horse pasture views. The house is furnished with 19th century antiques and decorative arts. Easily accessible to farmstands, antiquing, historic sites, restaurants and a nearby state park with an Olympic-size pool. The host lives next door, so help is available when needed, but privacy is allowed.
