We are a hobby farm with pygmy goats and free-range hens located along Beach Highway near Greenwood, Delaware, in the heart of the Mennonite Community (not to be confused with the Amish). Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on the farm. You will see horses, cows, goats, chickens & ducks. Family friendly. Animals roam the property & are safe to pet. You will hear many farm noises such as roosters crowing, cows mooing & more. This home is located in the country & a min of 5 miles from stores and shopping. Full kitchen, 1 full bathroom & 1 queen bed included. Upon request Queen Air Mattress or Twin Bed can be provided.

Sunflower Farms

Family Farm built in 1940, same family has owned the property for over 300 years. Recently renovated, original floors, both levels. Farm living at it's finest, but still close to the beach. It's the best of both worlds. This old gem has A bit of old cellar, old wood, paste wax and Grandma. Original wood floors downstairs are waxed and polished. Upstairs are original farm slat floors. Enjoy this beautiful cottage/studio apartment. Perfect little getaway space for 2 (or 3). Our little cottage is surrounded by fields and the quiet sound of country sunrise. You'll wake up to chickens anxious to get out of their coop or Lucy, the turkey, peeking in your window. In the evenings, light the firepit or enjoy and a quiet nighttime swim with our duck. And our very friendly dog, Tanka (Cane Corso) will welcome you to our family.

Our beach home is ideally situated on Broadkill Beach's SOUTH side (the North side has a higher density of houses [i.e. more people on the beach]; the SOUTH side offers a more exclusive beach experience with no crowds). It's just you, the sand, and the sea - the quintessential beach escape.
