A 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive will take you to the village of Longnor where you will find a general store, post office, and a fish and chip shop. There is plenty to experience and explore in this charming area whether walking, cycling, climbing, shopping in nearby Leek & Buxton or simply just relaxing in stunning surroundings.

The Gypsy

Welcome to The Gypsy. The Gypsy is set in the grounds of a fantastic Victorian house overlooking the beautiful garden with access via a locked gate. A uniquely styled caravan offering a memorable experience to those who stay in her. The Gypsy has a good heater and hot water so is still great for winter months (she was set up in Austria to do a season of snowboarding at -10 degree and was still super cosy)

Located with in walking distance to Chatsworth House & Garden the five shepherd’s huts at Heathy Lea have been sympathetically designed to reflect their natural surroundings, bringing the outside in with high-quality natural materials, such as ethically sourced oak. Skilfully handcrafted, they are fully insulated to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.
