If you prefer an early 1900’s, rustic, historical home vs modern, stay with us! Built in 1916, our home was said to be a boarding house for railroaders as Union Pacific passed through. It was owned by a single woman named Alice & named “Themar Hotel”…(WAS it JUST a hotel)…? In 1930’s & part of the 40’s, it was then the Harris Hospital, with patients being upstairs, & Dr’s living quarters in the basement. Located off Main Street, block from local eateries & stores. **Still remodeling

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. This property is located one block from downtown, which has a bowling alley, coffee shop, and restaurants /bars. There are two parks in town for children, a afforable swimming pool in the summer, and a local lake for fishing, kayaking, or taking a stroll around. Chappell also has a nice 9 hole golf course.

Eventually it became a hospital during the 30’s & 40’s, various motels, a bed and breakfast and then our private home. Our location is only a block away from local eateries, sports bars, second hand stores and grocery store. We offer wifi and free parking. (**Still a work in progress**)

This cozy cabin is located on our family owned and operated campground. This is a working farm, so where we fall short on glamour, we make up for it in hospitality. We do our best to share our garden harvest with our guests and give you an experience worth remembering. We hope to see you soon!
