Get back to nature at Stella Matutina Farm’s Moon Flower Yurt. Located on a 10 acre , working Biodynamic farm in the heart of the Waterloo Recreation Area. The yurt sits in its own private space in the forest. Visit the farm animals, historic barn and vegetable gardens. Fire pit, outhouse with compost toilet, outdoor solar shower, gas grill and yurt woodstove. Visit the quaint towns of Grass Lake and Chelsea or go swimming in one of several nearby lakes. Mountain bike and hiking trails close by.

Property is located at Clarklake a public lake and access for swimming/boating can be gained at the public access a few minutes away. This location is wonderful to take walks/ biking with a 7 mile trail around the lake.

Come bike, hike, fish, kayak, boat and have a fire right on the shore of the lake, yet close to picturesque downtown Chelsea (3 miles) that features bars, shopping, excellent restaurants and we’re a short drive to downtown Ann Arbor/UoM Stadium (18 miles). We cater to families and business people alike with a fully renovated home, kayaks (5), paddle boat (life jackets provided), game room with ping pong, darts, table for poker, stone fire pit, etc. PONTOON RENTAL NOW AVAIL for addit fee.

Enjoy our hot tub all year long. Canal views with free access to pedal boat, SUPs, and kayak. Relax by the indoor gas fireplace or fire pit. Guest rave about nearby wineries and walking trails. UM football : 30 miles to the Big House. Equestrians- Waterloo Hunt: 9 miles. We offer dog-friendly accommodations (pet fee required). Want a pontoon to explore the lake? The cottage is a mere two-minute walk to dining, tavern, shopping, cafe, and the public swimming area. Bring your boat. The public launch is only 1/2 mile down the road.

The outdoor fire pit is perfect for campfire bonding, and in fall and winter months, enjoy the fire overlooking the lake. Cottage is on a channel to Pike Lake - a calm, private lake. Take the kayaks and SUPs exploring, or enjoy ice skating or fishing when the lake’s frozen.
