Canoe, kayak, fish, and swim from the dock, or admire the stars around the campfire. Relax here after skiing, white water rafting or attending local art and antique festivals.

Fox Den: cozy up north cabin

Perched along the shores of picturesque Sawyer Lake, the Fox Den offers fishing, and water-sports friendly waters. A nature lovers delight, unique birds frequent the property. Evening campfires offer broad clear views of the Milky Way. This quaint property offers use of an on-site dock that can accommodate a pontoon or a boat. There is a boat launch at the adjacent park. Sawyer lake is known for excellent fishing and no watercraft restrictions. In colder seasons warm up by the wood stove.

Excellent boating and fishing location on middle lake of Hamilton Chain of Lakes with access to 1st and 3rd lake. Enjoy sunrises/sunsets while watching loons, herons, eagles and ducks. The closest boat rental is Journey North in Florence WI; about 30 miles away. Bring your own boat/jet ski, use the public launch and park at your private dock (dock available mid-May until mid-September). 2 bedroom (3rd bed is pullout sofa/blowup mattress), 2 bath, 2 living areas, 2 decks, private dock/beach.

In winter it transforms into a snowy wonderland with skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place on Hamilton Lakes. Located about 10 miles from Iron Mountain. House has a wrap around deck, and a walkout basement to the lake. Included are 2 kayaks to use at your leisure. Boat ramp nearby. Please note the cottage sits on a well, so the water has an off smell so shouldn’t be used to drink! For our summer guests, also keep in mind there is no A/C. Please don’t hesitate to message with any additional questions/requests!
